Dhanush's debut directorial film 'Power Paandi' has been released. The movie title changed to 'Pa Pandi' from "Power Pandi" to avoid English word in the title which would help in getting tax exemption. Rajkiran plays the lead role while Dhanush, Chaya Singh, Madonna Sebastian, Revathi, Prasanna, Dhivyadarshini, and Gautham Menon play important roles in the movie.
